AKLI vs paper HACCP logs

A paper log can be a complete record if someone fills it in at the time, signs it, and can find it later. Groups lose that thread. AKLI stores the same checks with a time, a person, and an export. It does not replace the HACCP plan.

Paper is a Yes for “a place to write the check” and a Partial or No for time, identity, edits, and a group view. AKLI is a Yes for the digital record and a No for compliance-by-software. The kitchen still has to run the checks.

This is one comparison. The full set is all comparisons.

What paper still does well

A single site with a disciplined closing checklist can run on paper. The form can have every field a digital log has. Partial in the table means the field exists on many sheets and is still filled in late, signed as a scribble, or photographed only when someone asks. Edit history on paper is a crossed-out number. A regional lead cannot see a missing lunch service without collecting folders.

Digital does not repair a plan that was never written. It records the checks the plan already requires. The practice list (what to capture, and what not to invent as a legal limit) is digital temperature logging.

What AKLI will and will not say

AKLI’s HACCP module timestamps temperature and critical-control-point logs, alerts when a reading is out of range, and exports them. It is built for the logging expectations of Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health, the UAE Food Safety Department, and the Saudi Food and Drug Authority. Using it is not a ministry certificate, and it does not make a site compliant. That limit is also on digital HACCP for restaurant groups.

The product interface is available in English, French, and Arabic, which matters when the person logging the fridge is not working in English. This marketing site is available in English, French, and Arabic, with French pages under /fr and Arabic pages under /ar.
